What is the MAG-5 procedure?

MAG-5 is a unique procedure mainly focusing around the eye region, the most important aesthetic area of the face. Five interrelated procedures are performed simultaneously to rejuvenate the upper and mid face, and the results are MAGnificent. This is how the procedure got its name. The procedure includes a brow lift, removing the frownlines, removing the excess skin and fat from the lower eyelid, tightening the lower eyelid support structures, and elevating the droopy cheek to its normal youthful position. Currently, I am the only plastic surgeon in Florida and one of the two surgeons in the entire U.S.performing this procedure.

How does MAG-5 differ from a facelift?

MAG-5 addresses the effects of aging in both the upper and mid face simultaneously, especially around the eyes, where the effects of aging are the most prominent and appear the earliest in life. That is why MAG-5 does wonders to rejuvenate the face for those between the ages of 35 to 55, while the facelift can only be beneficial after age 55. A facelift also can only correct the lower face and neck. Attempts to correct the upper and mid face with a facelift alone is doomed to fail, resulting in an unnatural “operated” look. Only a few plastic surgeons have been trained in this simpler,more powerful,and longer lasting procedure and I am pleased to be able to offer it here in Panama City.

What is the recovery time from the MAG-5 procedure?

Every body recovers differently. However the person should be able to go back to work and out in public within two weeks.

Are the results of MAG-5 long-lasting?

Absolutely. MAG-5 will take 10 to 15 years off and keep them off for the rest of your life. It will not stop the aging process. However women who have the procedure will continue to look better and far younger than their actual age throughout their lives. A MAG-5 before and after photo.
